These past few days we have shown different videos and stories featuring mules because they truly are very talented and possess amazing qualities. Not many people knew that mules can be used for multiple purposes such as riding, transportation, flight protection, guide, breeding, or training calves. Despite their similarities with horses and donkeys, mules have anatomical and physiological peculiarities and their care demands special attention.
One amazing mule named Radar managed to set a new record at the Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo by jumping 5 feet! It was a yearly coon jumping contest and Radar made a sensational presentation, which surprised everyone that attended the event. We forgot to mention that he is even 20 years old! He truly must love jumping and has been trained for a long time to achieve this kind of performance.
He patiently expects for his owner’s instructions and reacts correctly while the crowd applauds and shows full support for him. We are also amazed by the incredible work that the mule’s trainer has done! Radar and his trainer have proved once again that with hard work and dedication you can accomplish everything.
In the end, all it matters is practice because as history has shown, talent means nothing if you don’t work hard for something that you are passionate about. Most of the judges who were judging this event had seen Radar perform before, but they weren’t expecting that kind of jump. They were glad for having the chance to meet an amazing mule like Radar. Enjoy the video!
