Nowadays, in the horse world, there are hundreds of beautiful horse breeds that give a huge diversity to the horse world. It is crazy how different all these horse breeds are. It might not come as a surprise that an American horse breed can be very different from an Asian one, but it is definitely surprising when you think about countries that are very close geographically but there is a huge difference in their horse breeds.
Let’s take two very popular horse breeds, Friesian, which is a Dutch horse breed and Draft horses, which is a Belgian breed, if you compared both breeds they are completely different from each other, you can even tell that they are two completely different species, however, Netherland and Belgium are very close geographically, which disputes what a lot of people think about horses of countries who are close geographically are similar to each other, such an example proves that it is not true, apart from other examples as well.
I am really happy that it is like that because this diversity is simply beautiful and we can all agree that it totally makes the horse world better and more interested. You will always learn something new about horses all over the world as the cultures where they belong to are also very different from one another. Today, we are going to focus on only one of these amazing horse breeds and I am referring to Quarter horse. What is surprising about this breed is the fact that one specific stallion has brought a lot of changes in the breed as a whole and the name of this horse is Doc Bar.
He was not designed to be a racer and that’s how he has transformed the entire breed. Not being a typical Quarter horse is what made him special and he became an extraordinary sire and cutting and halter horse.
His appearance has influenced most of his ability. Doc Bar was deep through the heart, clean in the throatlatch, with a gorgeous head and a little fox ears. He is definitely one of the most beautiful Quarter horses to have ever been born.
