If some of you do not know, chiropractic is a system of complementary medicine based on the diagnosis and manipulative treatment of misalignments of the joints, especially those of the spinal column, which are believed to cause other disorders by affecting the nerves, muscles, and organs. Now that you know what it is, let’s read the story below.
“This horse has always had a history of bucking, so bucking after not being worked for 2 months was not at all out of the ordinary. I DID lunge her beforehand. People commenting saying she looks off, you are right, she needed chiropractic work and a saddle change. These are things I could not afford at the time, and she was sold to a home who could provide these things for her. As far as my riding, I am riding in a french link snaffle and believe it or not, am not pulling as hard as you seem to believe.
I know this is not the best riding in the world, but Jesus people give me a freaking break lol. I am not abusing this horse at all in this video and she was fine, I assure you. So I haven’t ridden Miss Scarlet here in about 2 months (so please excuse my riding). In that time she has been sitting in the pasture looking cute and getting very fat and lazy. As a result, she was VERY sassy today.
After she got all her bucks out (32, I counted) she was very good for the small bit of flatwork I did. I didn’t push her on flatwork when she was being good because she was already sweaty and I wanted to reward her for finally settling down and listening. I will be going out tomorrow to ride again, hopefully outside in the field. We’ll see though. Oh, how I love my sassy girl.” We just wish the best for the horse and if one of you knows, please drop a comment about the current conditions of Scarlet.
