I think all horse lovers admit that horses and horseback riding are the biggest passions they have, and their love for horses only grows stronger as time goes by. One of the best examples who proves that the passion for horses never dies is Joan Sinclair, an experienced rider who is an inspiration for all the people who have had the chance to know her.
The 83-year-old cattlewoman never plans on giving up her passion and she even says that she favors horse riding more than walking. Ever since she was just a little girl she had to learn to ride because that was the only way for her to go to school.
From that moment, her passion for horses only grew bigger and this love will always remain in her heart forever despite what happens in her life. Most of the people of her age are retired and spend their days on retirement homes whilst Joan, 83-year-old is still very active and does a great job with her horses.
She continues riding every day and her neighbors recognize her as one of the greatest riders and cattlewomen in High Country. Joan has been living on the same farm since she was a baby and she enjoyed getting up and going to the bush or in the mountains with the cattle. Even though she has been married twice, she jokes that she loves horses more because they bring less trouble than men. She is an inspiration for all equestrians! Watch the video below for more.
