One of the most difficult situations in life is when you feel like there is no way how it will end up being beautiful. A lot of people dealing with anxiety and depression have felt exactly the same. As a lot of them explain, it feels like they are surrounded by negative emotions up to the point that it becomes uncontrollable and makes you feel like there is no way out this state of mind.
It is so serious and they do not feel strong enough to handle such situations and the pressure that future events might give them. Since many people are uninformed, they do not take it as seriously as it is and they lack to understand what these people are going through because they look at these people’s lives and believe that there is nothing to worry about.
It is just something that will pass quickly, but in reality, this mentality is completely wrong. That’s why these people need to go for a visit to a psychologist or psychiatric depending on how serious the situation is. However, there are also other ways how to find help and the teen girl in the video below did. When Morgan Hubbard walks into the Jester Park Equestrian Center in Granger, IA, she is finally at ease.
It’s her therapy, her “church” among peaceful horses, and her salvation from her depression and anxiety. For most of her teenage life, Morgan has been plagued by depression, social anxiety, and being bullied by her peers, which led her to three attempts to take her own life. Like Morgan, many teens have endured what she calls this “deep dark hole” that she couldn’t get out of.
Today, Morgan is a survivor who has flourished after being enrolled in Walnut Creek Campus, West Des Moines’ alternative high school, where she works with horses at the Jester Park Equestrian Center. This was the moment when her life took a positive turn and she managed to get out of such negative moments. If it wasn’t for the interaction with the horses, she might have continued to be the same, that’s why she is really thankful for her new life. I really hope this story will inspire a lot of people who are dealing with the same problem. I want to tell them that they are strong enough to face every challenge in life.
