One of the things that almost every single person enjoys doing is listening to music that he/she likes. Music is a good accompanier in different situations in life. On a wedding day, you most likely listen to festive music that creates such a positive atmosphere. Almost everywhere you go, you will listen to a type of music that is simply adapted to the place where you are going.
When you’re home and you feel bad after a day full of negative events, you will probably listen to motivational songs. Well, when it comes to horses, the situation is less complex. They love music in general and whatever sounds beautiful to them is going to be enough to enhance their attention. What is actually funny is the fact that just like us, horses have different music tastes as well.
A horse might go crazy while listening to a specific tune but might be less interested while listening to another one. I remember the horse who loved listening to heavy metal music and I am pretty sure it would not be as excited listening to a slower tune. Apparently, the horses in the video below love listening to music as well. The video is set at the Animu Luce Horse Farm in Belgium, where Michael Telapary is getting ready to play a tune for the horses.
He states that he has played for the animals before, but used a different flute with a higher range, and the horses didn’t care for it. Now, he’s using a High Spirits contrabass flute, with a lower, deeper register. “Let’s see if they like it and if they stay for my playing,” he says. Apparently, all of the horses being there were very excited to listen to the beautiful music of the flute. I have to say that the sound of it was really amazing.
As you can see in the video, the horses couldn’t get enough of it and if it was up to them, they wouldn’t mind Michael doing it the whole day. Well, this is the power of music that people highly talk about. If you have a video of your horse listening to its favorite tune please make sure to share it with our audience.
