Christmas is here and we wish you a Merry Christmas. Thinking warmly of each of you and wishing your family an extra measure of comfort, joy and hope this Christmas. Since the majority of us here, if not all are horse owners, we decided to dedicate this article to them and show a few ways how to make this Christmas wonderful for your horse.
1) A break. A lot of horse trainers work really hard with their horses in order to bring the best out of them. Training is indeed important because the best way to improve is through practice, however, practicing every day for a few hours is very challenging for a horse because same as us, horses need their break as well. Instead of training, try to enjoy some time in the snow or simply sit together in a warm place and have those tender moments that we all love.
2) A Human to Care For Them Forever. I bet you all feel the love of your horses but on the other hand, they have to feel your love too. Try to make them feel comfortable and by fulfilling their wishes. They need to understand that they are part of the family too and that are not excluded in any way.
3) Teaching Them a New Trick. Doing the same things over and over again might be a little repetitive for a horse. Try to find a new way of training with your horse. Just think about the interests of your horse and come up with an idea about what’s something new that you can teach it.
4) Safe Feed Storage. Horse food needs special care as well. A lot of owners try to neglect this but the feed storage is really important.
5) Delicious food. A lot of horses like eating a lot of products that we humans eat on a daily basis. Since it is not proper food for your horse, we try to avoid feeding them with these types of food. Well, nothing bad happens if you give your horse a special treat during this day. I am pretty sure that your horse’s Christmas will be unforgettable this year.
