It is time for one of those unique types of friendship between horses and other animals. This is not of that typical horse-dog, horse-cat or horse-goat friendships that we are used to seeing on social media, it is quite different from that actually. Would you ever believe that horses and penguins would meet each other at one point? I thought that might probably happen in a zoo but I never thought that that would actually happen in real life, considering the different habitats of horses and penguins as well.
Sometimes, strangers can end up becoming the best of friends. There is just a feeling of genuine affection that certain animals can have for each other, and this warm sense of compassion is what we humans should always learn to sustain for each other. One of the most touching friendships was made on the Falkland Islands between a lost little penguin and a herd of a different species.
These animals were not shy at all to be around the penguin, even though it was a very novel encounter for all of them. The Daily Mail spoke to one of the conservationists at the Cape Pembrokeshire Nature Reserve, where the unlikely friends met. This is as unique as the horses and seals who learned how to live together in a symbiotic lifestyle. It was actually funny how the horses did not know anything about humans’ existence.
All that they have seen during their lives were actually seals. Little did I expect that something like that could happen so I am less surprised about this horse-penguin friendship because as I always emphasize, no matter how surprised to you get about certain things in the horse world and you would think that now you have seen it all, there will always be something happening that will prove you wrong.
I just have to add that the way how to get close to each other and that they are not afraid of each other all makes me feel so happy. This is definitely one of the most tender moments that I have seen in the horse world so far. Have a look at the video below and let us know what you think.
