Do you know what I think is one of the saddest things ever when it comes to children? When life hits them at a very young age or even at the day when they are born and they get to experience the challenges that life brings at a very young age.
What is motivating about all of this is that these children appreciate their loved ones even more who are there for support no matter what. Basically what I have said sums up the beautiful story of this amazing young boy. Four-year-old Zaiden was born with ataxia-telangiectasia, a rare disorder that affects the nervous system, and wreaks havoc with coordination until the patient has to live with a wheelchair.
When Zaiden’s mother found out her son was going to need help, she decided to take her love of horses to the next logical step, and they adopted Zoe, a miniature horse who has been trained as a service animal.
The way when Zoe was adapted it was the moment that Zaiden’s life became as happy as any other children’s life. Zoe follows Zaiden to preschool, helps him walk and stand, and is even learning how to pick things up and turn on the lights. Watch the video below and understand more about their journey.
