Animals, the same as humans, do all deserve to have a place where to stay and most importantly be treated in a proper way. Unfortunately, we live in a world where a lot of animals are living in very bad conditions with very little food.
A lot of owners either abandon their animals or even send them to the slaughterhouse and horses are among the most affected animals compared to the others. When a days-old foal was found in the street after he was separated from his mother, his rescuers knew that he needed to be fed and controlled immediately because it would risk his life.
He was named Chance and was taken to Kamloops’ large animal clinic where he was given the blood transfusion he needed. Then they called Dreamscape Ranch, and there, volunteers and employees helped nurse the frail day-old foal back from the brink.
In the beginning, it seemed like there was little hope for Chance but the vet did their best and succeeded to keep him alive. It took only 12 days for him to get better and now he is enjoying the second chance given to his life. Please watch the video below and share it with your friends so they can read Chance’s inspiring story as well.
