Drivers in Florida had an interesting surprise when they spotted miniature horses on the loose on the side of the turnpike. The five little horses escaped from their nearby farm and were seen galloping on the grass area near the busy road. “There was a hole in the fence over here in this empty property next door and they ended up on the highway,” neighbor Benny Puentes told Local 10.
But, despite the danger, they seemed to be having a blast as they galloped one behind the other while cars zoomed by them. It was an unexpected and pretty astonishing scene similar to the llamas who once got loose in North Carolina, and the ostrich who tried to chase down cyclists on a road in Africa.
Thankfully, Highway Patrol troopers showed up before things got too out of hand. The officers are seen standing guard to ensure the mini horses weren’t heading for even more trouble by running into traffic. In the meantime, the horses’ owner tried to catch them with the help of the caring neighbor.
And in the end, the adorable runaway horses eventually made it back home safely without any injuries. Please watch the video below and drop your thoughts in the comment section. If you really enjoyed watching it, please make sure to share it with your friends so they can watch it as well.
