When we think of life in terms of days, hours, minutes and seconds it feels like it takes forever until the day of the death, but when the moment comes, we realize how short our lives have really been. Below there is a video of a man named Roberto Gonzales’s who loved his horses even more than himself.
Roberto Gonzalez’s one last dying wish was to have a reunion with his two best friends Sugar and Ringo in the hospital. The Vietnam veteran’s organs were failing. For the Vietnam veteran, seeing his prized horses one last time meant everything.
Gonzalez was shot and paralyzed while on duty during the war in 1970. But it didn’t stop Roberto from following his dreams of becoming a horse rancher in Texas. Roberto was also admitted into a VA hospital due to his deteriorating health.
You can tell there is definitely a rare connection between Gonzales and his horses and they are all enjoying this moment. People forget about the importance of doing things they like to do during the lifetime and videos like this are all reminders that we should appreciate our lives more and fight hard to live it as want.
