Every horse is special in his own way but the horse you are about to watch in this video shows that you don’t really need a dog for your cattle because he does the job amazingly. Although he is not showing off his great cutting moves he is doing his job perfectly accompanying the cows to their pen.
We have watched a lot of videos of cutting horses working cows when their riders fell off or even without a rider on their back but on their own but that’s not the case with this horse. He shows to be a true gentleman as he gently escorts them and then goes back to his owner telling him that he has done his job. He isn’t being aggressive or pushy and that’s what makes him a great horse because his attitude and approach to those cows is rarely seen in another horse.
This smart horse gets me every time I watch this video and his owner Matt Boos says that this isn’t the first time he does this. “I needed this guy’s help last weekend when we had one dumb wayward cow decide she was taking the scenic route home when we were bringing cattle back to the home place, and there he was willing to take over.” Watch the video!
