We may have mentioned before that when it comes to horses, surprises never seem to end. The moment you tell yourself that you have seen everything about them, a story or a video appears on social media that proves you wrong. The following story is definitely one of those stories that come around only once in a lifetime.
Jacob is a 12-year-old police horse who has been defending the streets of St. Petersburg in Florida along with his co-worker Officer Jason Hughes since 2009. The attractive stallion has become a very well-known horse in his community and some may even consider him a celebrity, but it isn’t just his police work that the citizens admire.
This Police Horse is also a very talented painter in his free time! From the very first time that Jacob was handed a brush, he took it and immediately started painting. He keeps the brush in his teeth and waves his head back and forth to paint his works of art.
From time to time Jacob donates some of his work to local charities to be auctioned off. His paintings have gone to Pet Pal Animal Shelter and lately, Creative Clay Cultural Arts Center, a foundation that is devoted to make art accessible to all the people with limited access.
Hughes, his partner said that the same week they visited the charity art event, they “chased down a guy who did a stabbing right around the corner from here.” All we can say that Jacob is certainly a multitalented horse!
