What is one of the strongest bonds in the world? It is definitely the bond between parents and children, especially when the children are really young. The moment when a child comes to life it becomes a priority for every parent, everything that might have been of high importance for them is nearly as important as their children.
It is difficult to explain such a feeling to someone who is not a parent, you will be able to understand it as soon as you become a parent yourself. This does not only stand true for humans, but for animals as well. Given the fact that they can’t recognize the people or animals who have bad intentions on their children as easy as humans can, they are even more protective than us and they will most likely prevent everyone to get close to their children.
We have seen videos on the internet and we have easily seen that this has been the case for a lot of animals. The situation becomes different when their children grow up and gain confidence, however, this will most likely be the reaction as long as they are kids. Let’s focus on this elephant in the video below. She loves her child so much so she won’t let anyone get close to him.
Not only protective but she is also really worried as her child is stuck in the mud for two days, however, when the rescuers come to save him she won’t let them get close because she believes these people have a bad intention on him, which is the case with a lot of animals, especially who barely see humans in their lives.
The rescue team had to put her asleep for a few minutes and they needed to be really fast to get the baby elephant out of the mud before his mum would wake up and that’s what they did. It was a very difficult mission but at least, they managed to get him out and then they had to run as his mother was waking up and still, she would most likely not understand that they were there for help. At least everything went fine and hopefully, such a thing won’t ever happen again.
