There’s nothing more painful for a horse owner then the tragic moment when they have to bear with the fact that they have to let go of their horse. Owning a horse is one of the biggest responsibilities in someone’s life and you have to make it your priority to ensure them the best life.
It is also a huge privilege because these beautiful creatures become your life companion and stand with you through good and bad times. Justine Palmer, a pony owner had to make the most difficult decision of her life, by letting her horse go sooner than she thought. She believed that it was best if she turned all her pain and emotions into an emotional open letter as a special dedication to her best friend.
In her goodbye letter, she describes the unbearable moment when she saw her pony for the last time. She didn’t know to react and what to do in those moments as it was the very last time that she fed a treat with her hands, the last time she picked her feet and the last time she held the pony in her arms.
The pony knew she was seeing her owner for the last time in her life because she didn’t bite, didn’t kick nor did she pull away from her owner as she usually did. For anyone who knows how it feels to say goodbye to your horse, we are very sure that this letter will leave you crying. I invite you all to read the passionate letter written by Jasmine and share it with us if you have experienced something similar to this.
