One of the most precious moments in the horse world is when you get to see a foal being born and follow its development over the first weeks, which is extremely fast compared to other phases in their lives. Some of them are a little lazy or less confident at the beginning and others are fireballs of energy within the first day of them being born. I really like to see these young foals go around the place in full excitement moment, always being curious to learn new things.
A lot of these foals do actually love to imitate the movements of their grown-up horse friends or parents and when such a thing happens, we get to see hilarious situations like the one in the video below. Foals can be so unpredictable because unlike grown-up horses who you have spent a lot of time with and then you can predict their behavior in a situation of the everyday’s life, you barely know anything about what these babies are thinking off which makes it even more interesting to spend some time with them.
One of these ‘full of surprises’ foals is this adorable gypsy foal who wants to show how happy he is by galloping around the pen. As he is running around he gets going a little bit too fast and isn’t able to stop at the right moment and crashes into the pen fence. Fortunately, the gorgeous foal is alright and no injuries were suffered. Cheyenne Hall, who posted the video on Facebook, wrote, “No babies were harmed in the making of this film. Only damaged egos from hauling ass too fast.”
In the beginning, he seems quite confident about the jump so you would really think that it is going to be a successful attempt, however, it was indeed a high fence to be crossed even by a grown horse, leave alone a young foal. I am pretty sure that the next time he will be less confident to try and do the same thing again. A showjumping horse wannabe, I would say.
