We are already in October and the Winter will be approaching in a few months. Although the majority of people love the snowy weather, it is often associated with situations like the one below. Two poor horses were stuck in the middle of nowhere in a freezing pond and were desperately looking for help.
Over 30 firefighters were activated in order to make the rescue of these poor babies possible. Let’s get in touch with the situation even more by hearing what Chief Mark Schaefer of the Blossom Fire Company has to say: “They were getting weaker and weaker, and we could see that there wasn’t much time.
The breathing was slowing and so forth,” Chief Mark Schaefer of the Blossom Fire Company told WKBW. “So we just swung those axes until we broke a channel through the ice.” One of the volunteers managed to break through the ice and fortunately with the help of all others, these animals got saved and everything happened was just part of history.
We strongly recommend you to prepare for the cold winter because we have to do anything we can to keep our animals away from any possible danger. There’s nothing left to say but watch the photos.
