Appaloosa breed was developed by the Nez Perce tribe in North America and their origin comes from Spanish horses. They are mostly known for their flashy coat but this breed can run along and compete with the fastest of the horses. This breed is small and compact, which makes them a great choice for children. Before the Great Depression, this breed almost became extinct when Nez Perce lost his lands but fortunately, they were brought to life in the 1900s by people who were able to see their uniqueness. American Miniature Horse
