One of the things that we all appreciate the most about horses is the connection that they have with kids. The majority of you probably have smaller siblings or relatives or you are parents who have been involved in the horse world for quite a long time and I am pretty sure that all of you are really happy with the connections that your kids have with horses. It is almost certain that if the young children were raised along with pets they will most likely start to love the pets as well.
Not only this, but these animals do feel some sort of parenting as well. They understand that young children are very positive and usually they can’t protect themselves. It is a high chance that a horse will have a better relationship with the young kids than it will have with the adults, maybe because kids are better at expressing themselves and their love for animals.
Regarding horses, the videos of them and young children are always very popular on the internet as people love to see such beautiful connections on the internet, during the time that we are living in more than ever. Below, you will be able to see a hilarious mare who likes to imitate the movements of these young children. This thoroughbred is clearly up for horsing around – as she mirrors little kids by racing them up and down in her paddock. Mum Desiree Tagg, 29, filmed her two daughters Abby, seven, and Zoey, four, racing two-year-old racehorse Shelby up and down.
The girls wait excitedly for mum to shout ‘Ready, steady, go’ while Shelby lines up next to them on the other side of the fence. When the girls take off as fast as they can Shelby, who has yet to be in a race, shoots off after them to try and cross the line first. This is one of the cutest things I have ever seen. There are usually children who tend to imitate the movements of the horses but in this case, it happens to be the opposite. Please have a look at the video below and let us know what you think about Shelby.
