If I ask you about one of the things that horses like doing the most, I am pretty sure that a lot of you would say swim in the water. I have barely seen horses who are afraid of the water. I have seen a few videos of them being scared at the beginning but in the end, they got used to it. If before the problem with these horses was to get them used to the water places now the problem is to get them out as soon as they get in.
A lot of horse trainers do it often with their horses, especially days before a performance as it seems like one of the most efficient ways to relax a horse, which is really important in a performance where both the rider and the horse need to be in their top form so they can aim for high rankings.
However, one of the funniest things with horses is when they get creative while swimming in the water and these two horses that you are about to watch got very creative. I’ve seen horses who love to swim before, but I’ve never seen them do this! What better way to kick back and relax on a warm, muggy day than take a dip in the pond with your best friend?
Two horse pals in Osgoode, Ontario enjoyed a few minutes of R&R when their owner brought them down to the water, as he did every day during the summer heat. Not only did they get a reprieve from the pesky flies, but the water helped to release the weight of standing on their legs all day. But perhaps the best perk of all was getting to blow bubbles, which, as the horses quickly discovered, is so much fun.
It was difficult to get them out of the water before they discovered the fun coming from water bubbles, leave alone now that they have one additional reason to stay in. I am pretty sure that all of you have been in such a situation as horse owners. Please have a look at the video below and share it with your friends if you think it is funny.
