The majority of the professionals in different sports approve that practicing is more important than actually having talent in doing something. The only way to develop your talent is through practicing however I would like you all to tell me which one do you think is more important: Talent or practice?
An aspiring jockey has galloped to victory in her first-ever horse race – after practicing on a wooden horse made by her dad. Olivia Tubb, 13, from Chandler’s Ford, Hampshire, is desperate to become a professional jockey, but parents Paul and Maxine couldn’t afford to buy their teenage daughter a pony of her own.
With the nearest training yard a four-hour-round drive away, doting dad Paul decided to build his daughter a horse so she could practice her technique without leaving her bedroom. He spent a month constructing the wooden beast – nicknamed Troy – with wooden beams and nails from his local B&Q.
Apparently, this way of practicing was very successful cause the rider managed to win her very first race. It is also very inspiring at the same time because it demonstrates that there is always a way to find a solution to a specific problem occurring.
