All around the world, there are a lot of popular horse breeds. People are very interested in horses, even though the majority of the horse fans are not involved in the horse world, they are still admiring and loving the beauty of these horses as it is quite evident. A lot of artists even get inspired by horses and include them in their pieces of art, which is indeed amazing.
However, what is a key determinant of the popularity of these horses is the exposure in the media and in major events that involve a lot of people. One of these events is the Superbowl and when it is mentioned, we all know about which horse breed we are talking about and these horses are Budweiser’s Clydesdales. They are really huge horses and indeed one of the most amazing horse breeds in the world.
All the popularity that they have gained it well deserved and I really think that other horse breeds should get the same popularity as well. For those of you who do not know Clydesdales, Clydesdale is a breed of draught horse named for and derived from the farm horses of Clydesdale, a county in Scotland. Although originally one of the smaller breeds of draught horses, it is now a tall breed.
Often bay in color, they show significant white markings due to the presence of sabino genetics. The breed was originally used for agriculture and haulage and is still used for draught purposes today. Today, the Clydesdale stands 162 to 183 cm (64 to 72 in) high and weighs 1,800 to 2,000 pounds (820 to 910 kg). Some mature males are larger, standing taller than 183 cm and weighing up to 2,200 pounds (1,000 kg).
The breed has a straight or slightly convex facial profile, broad forehead, and wide muzzle. In the video below, you will get to see the beauty of these amazing horses that are indeed extraordinary. I am pretty sure you will love all of them as much as you love each other. Please have a look at the video below and let us know what you think about these amazing horses.
