One of the most famous movies in cinematography that feature horses is definitely ‘Wild Hearts Can’t Be Broken’. The movie was inspired by a horse discipline that does not exist anymore (I am not sure if people still do it illegally but it is considered as horse abuse, hence a lot of countries do not allow it).
Decades ago, the discipline was so popular and it was one of the most entertaining disciplines of the time, however, it is worth mentioning that the health of a horse is really affected by such disciplines because they have to jump to a pool from a very high trampoline, together with their owners.
Sometimes, it has ended in a fatal way, when both the owner and horses have fallen outside of the pool which has caused their death. However, for cinematography purposes, I don’t think that the situation is as serious as it was in real life but still, the movie has been commented a lot positively and negatively.
I am among the negative group because I think horse diving pushes the horses’ limits to limits that they should not be pushed, hence I disapprove of it. I would like all of you to share your honest opinion on this topic as well. Let us know what you think.
