Horses can spook over the most insignificant thing and they are so unpredictable that it makes really difficult for us to tell when they are reacting because of something that spooks them. As horse owners and riders we use different techniques of desensitizing a horse and each one we use seem to function up to a certain point.
What you are going to watch is a video posted by Brookby Heights International and wrote, “What mostly our clients require isn’t something special. They require from us to film videos of the horses while jumping or making some moves…or just lateral work.” They have various requests but one was so interesting and they filmed it on video. The client wanted their calmest horse to be taken on video and show the ultimate test of desensitizing.
The horse Skeebop seems to be so calm and tolerant as he puts up with extreme winds and strange noises all around. A hairdryer is turned on in front of his face and he doesn’t it at all. Skeebop is a remarkable horse which everyone would want. Watch the video and share your opinions with us!
