Do you remember when it was the last time you did something for the first time? Well, I’m pretty sure the horse showed in the video below will always remember the first time he saw himself in the mirror. The beautiful horse named Woody, saw himself in the mirror for the first time and needless to say, he was very surprised and couldn’t stop watching himself.
Horse owners are sometimes urged to put mirrors in a horse’s stable if they are alone and afraid, so they’ll think they have company and are not alone. Some owners have stated that their horse instantly calms down as soon as they see a mirror on the front of them and they assume it has enhanced the quality of their horses’ lives.
However, in some circumstances, this first calming impact vanishes after a while and the horse returns to being troubled and nervous. While mirrors may assuredly benefit some horses, other horses are very bothered by them. This fact proves once again that all horses have their distinct personalities and we need to estimate the manners of each horse and act respectively.
Keep in mind that your horse will have no other option but to live with a mirror on the stable if you decide to put it there, that’s why you have to look carefully if your horse enjoys it or it’s bothered by it. Of course, this is an alternative only if your horse is alone and has no other equine friends. Watch the video below for more!
