Research done shows that horses that live in the wild and in huge herds are significantly more satisfied than the domesticated horses. Although as a horse owner you may be proving the best lives possible to these horses, they are still happier in the wild. Nevertheless, it is worth mentioning that the domesticated horses are way safer as they are not exposed to the danger that the wild horses are exposed to.
