A lot of times we refer to our horses as our best friends and it is totally true. People who do not understand this passion that we have for horse riding and how much we enjoy spending time with them think that the way we react might be a little exaggerated, but it is indeed like that. Horses are always there for us, even in our darkest times. If we are sad, we can simply go and meet our horses and we will instantly feel a lot better.
On the other hand, when we are in a good mood, it just gets better as soon as we meet them. Nevertheless, taking care of horses is a huge responsibility and it can be very tiring. They need special attention, especially when it comes to their health and hygiene. Only horse people can understand it. Let’s not forget about other obligations that we have during the day, which make the whole thing even more tiring. No matter what, we never regret making these animals part of our families.
Another major problem with horses happens when they get out of control and it has happened to every horse owner in the world. The most important thing that we can all pray for in these moments is that the horse won’t get in danger nor kick us accidentally and hurt us. The video below is exactly a situation of a horse who is out of control. Let’s get to see it.
An unlucky groom was dragged around showgrounds by an overly excited horse. Horse rider Ben Hobday, from Morpeth, England, had employee Louie watch over one of his stallions when the animal started tugging at the rope it was being held with. After a few dramatic moments during which Louie hurtled after the horse as it ran in circles around the paddock, the man couldn’t keep up with the speed.
Having collapsed to the ground while still holding the lead, Louie was then pulled across the sand before Ben stopped filming to help. This is scary and funny at the same time. It takes a lot of strength and professionalism to take a horse under control. Please have a look at the video below and let us know what you think!
