One of the greatest things about horses that is totally underrated in daily conversations between horse people is the fact that how much horses have improved a lot of professions. Starting with the most known one which is healthcare. Horses, especially the miniature ones are the best therapy animals and probably the most relevant one when it comes to different age groups.
They have helped a lot of young children with disabilities or have brought the smile back to people who dealt with anxiety. They have also improved the security system as well, which is absolutely incredible. It is called mounted police and it exists in a lot of countries all over the world.
The video below tells the story of a very unique police horse named Moose. Moose was donated to the Toronto Police Service’s Mounted Unit by Brian Burke in honor of his late son, “Moose”. Something very interesting about Moose is the fact that he always wears a special rainbow saddle pad and there is a very important reason why Moose keeps it.
Since it is the most important part of the video, I will definitely not spoil it for you. Please watch the video below and share your thoughts on it. If you think it is worth sharing with your friends, feel free to do so.
