A lot of Wild Horses, especially in the US where there is a significant population of them are surrounded by a lot of danger with one of them being the government. However, this is a great issue that we have raised before, but we will leave the government’s impact out of this story.
A lot of pet horses are relatively in safer life conditions compared to the wild ones because they do have the owners who lookup for them but on the other hand, these Wild Mustangs in the video below need someone to save them from possible danger, so here comes Dayton O’Hyde, a true cowboy, a conservationist and an award-winning writer.
In 1990, Dayton moved to the Black Hills of South Dakota, where he dedicated his life to operating his 11,000-acre sanctuary for wild horses, even if it meant going up against the government. “This is as close to heaven as I’ll probably ever get,” Dayton says.
When you see the Black Hills Wild Horse Sanctuary for yourself, I think you’ll agree. I’ve never seen anything so beautiful! Please make sure to watch the video below and let anyone know what this man has done for these gorgeous Mustangs.
