One of the saddest things about animals is the fact that a lot of them are used in daily consumption all over the world and if you think about that, there are a lot of young animals who are raised without their parents. In other scenarios, like nurse mare foals, they are left alone with a very uncertain future as their mothers are used to feed horses that are considered to be more profitable like the known racing breeds like quarter horses and thoroughbreds.
I really believe that the world would definitely be a better place if we were vegetarians, which would make a major change in the animal world. It is great that a lot of people all over the world are doing it and I really believe that in the future there will be way more vegetarians and vegans as they are now or at least I hope for it to be true. Now let’s focus on a very sad but on the other hand, beautiful story of a very unique foal who went through a lot during her first days in life, a foal who found herself out on the range, without her family, weak and wounded.
Thankfully, she wasn’t alone for long. Rescuers found this young filly, whom they named Charli Promise, wandering around Warm Springs Indian Reservation, and immediately called 3 Sisters Equine Refuge to help nurse her back to health. By pooling multiple different resources, little Charli Promise has been able to slowly find her way onto a path toward wellness.
To boost her chances of making a full recovery, Charli Promise was recently gifted the most adorable present — a giant, cuddly stuffed animal to keep her warm at night. The teddy bear that you are seeing became the best friend for Charli. Of course, it is really difficult to find a replacement for Charli’s mother, however, she found the comfort that he needed after her mum passed away and I can’t be happier that she managed to find it. Please watch the video below and share some love for Charli, one of the most adorable baby foals ever.
