I know it has been a while since we have posted a dressage video and I definitely this is one of the most beautiful ones. Sometimes, dressages might become very repeated so the more time passes, the more difficult it gets to stand out from the rest and be unique. Even that it might sound strange, the music chosen is very important as well because it is a very important component that attracts people’s attention.
Right at this point when standing out as a dressage performer has become very difficult, the performer has to look close to every single detail that is going to make it look amazing. The song chosen was one of the greatest hits of Black Eyes Peas ‘I gotta feeling’ which was suited perfectly for this performance and with the movements.
Another thing that I wanted to point out is the fact that this video has been highly speculated of abuse. Every time a video of an animal is posted working or performing there is a group of people who will always comment negatively and consider it as abuse without even knowing how these animals are getting trained or treated.
Nowadays, it is very easy to share your opinion but very difficult to share a valid one because you need to find certain evidence about your criticism, That is why you should never speak without having the right evidence, you can speculate or share your opinion but not in a way that it totally transforms the truth or is offending to someone else.
This video is one of those videos that is speculated by a few people as abuse, however, the majority of people commenting have no information about how this horse has been treated and what methods have its trainer used to train it. You, above everyone else, should know that there are a lot of amazing trainers out there who are simply gifted to bring the best out of horses with their training methods and most importantly, not in an abusive way.
I think behind this talented dressage horse stands an amazing trainer and of course an amazing rider as you can see. His name is Goncalo Carvalho and he was one of the top performers of the London 2012 Olympics. The way how he moves together with his horse is simply incredible, no wonder why the video has gotten more than 2 million views and I definitely think it deserves more. Indeed amazing.
