Everyone who has worked with draft horses can tell that they don’t change it with anything in the world. Nowadays,the diesel-powered tractors have taken over as to feed more people you need more land and then there is need for vehicles that can do the work quickly but there is no feeling compared to the one we experience when we see draft horses doing what they are bred to do.
What you are going to watch in this video is cutting a barley field and as much as we look at them we just can’t get enough. There are horse owners and lovers out there who don’t want to have to do with tractors and this is one of them but there are also people who by seeing what these horses can do they just might think of switching from a tractor-only operation to a draft horse one.
Besides being more fun there are also other benefits to working with horses such as reducing carbon emissions and help the planet. Let’s hope farming with horses becomes again popular and more people take it up. I just love this and love the gentle giants, too! Watch the video!
