Raven the horse has been rescued from certain death. Drew Boies, an amateur roper and farrier, saw that beautiful mare and knew that there is something special about her. She looked gorgeous, and her coat had a unique Grulla color! Raven was bought for only 200$, which is an incredibly low price, however, since she was destined to die and no one was interested in her, Drew was lucky enough to buy Raven for such a price.
Little did he know that she would become a champion and would be worth way more than she did when he initially saved her. When she was 3 years old, Drew spent a lot of time training her and she improved quite a lot. She actually went out of everyone’s expectations and became a three-time congress champion. This is definitely an inspiring story, simply for the fact that how a horse that people would think that she is useless can be one of the most talented horses in the world. Well, that horse is definitely Raven.
