What is like to be an equestrian? It is one of the most wonderful feelings ever, but also one of the most underrated jobs ever. A lot of people who are fully dedicated to the horse world get constantly underestimated by people who know nothing about horses.
It is funny how these people who have never ridden a horse and in a lot of times, have not personally seen one dare to judge the hard work of an equestrian who has been spending his/her life around horses. Before sharing your opinion about the job of someone else, we should first try what they are doing ourselves and only after we have tried it we can share our opinions.
I am pretty sure that a lot of you have been in such a situation and I want to tell you all that you should never be discouraged by someone who tries to drag your work down because it most likely happens because they can’t do what you are capable of doing. Spending time with horses is amazing, no matter how hard it is and no one can change our opinion about that as long as we are happy with what we are doing.
Talking about horse riding, I bet that all of you are missing it during these days and that you can’t wait until things get back to normal and go back for the usual rides. Probably it is going to take a lot of time, but we have to be patient and hope for the best. After all, the majority of us can spend a lot of time with our families and horses and this is indeed amazing.
While thinking about the great times of a future with no pandemics such as this one, here is an amazing video that shows why we should impatiently wait for the good times to come. Alycia Burton, a great equestrian shares her beautiful story in this short video that summarises all of her struggles and successes as a horse rider. Please have a look at it and get the dose of inspiration you need today.
