It is a little odd for horses to live indoors because horses are animals who like wide spaces and no matter how big your house is, most of the time it won’t be big enough for a horse to be comfortable. On the other hand, some horses have made a total mess when their owners decided to bring them indoors.
When 39-year-old doctor Stephanie Arndt brought her Arabian horse Nasar into her 300-year-old farmhouse during a December storm, she only meant to shelter him from the weather but ended up with a new roommate.
Nasar, according to his owner, does not like the wind and rain and has little interest in the paddock on her farm in the north German town of Holt. Before Arndt knew it, Nasar had learned how to open doors of the house, began to watch television and was eating and sleeping inside her home.
While Nasar’s intended dwelling is stable at the back of the house, he seems to prefer his designated room in the home which is filled with straw and even features a painting on the wall. Please watch the video below and let us know what you think about keeping horses indoors
