Nowadays, animals can be easily in danger by a lot of factors, which can be them being part of the food chain, failing to adjust to climate changes, etc, however, the thing that affects them the most is definitely the human activity which can be intentionally and unintentionally. If we are referring to intentional cases, there would be animals being included in a lot of industries, especially the food industry with the most affected animals being the ones who are widely used in fast foods and restaurants.
Less used, horses are part of this group of animals as well. Now let’s think of the unintentional cases. These cases include accidents. There are a lot of street animals who are not aware of all the automobiles moving around the city on a daily basis. You can’t blame the drivers as in the majority of the cases, animals jump in the street in the wrong moment and there is not enough time for the driver to stop the vehicle, hence such an accident can happen.
Another one is the example in our video below which is very unusual and I didn’t think that it would actually ever happen, however, it turned out to have a positive ending as judging by the situation, it could have ended really bad. A woman was driving through a rural area near Valparaiso, IN, when she noticed something strange stuck on the railroad bridge. She took a closer look and realized it was a full-grown horse whose hoof got trapped between the wooden ties.
What makes this even more powerful is the fact this horse turned out to be pregnant at the time of her accident. It was imperative that she be rescued in time before a train approached the tracks. They came up with a very intelligent plan to save the horse in trouble and they managed to do so before the train arrived, of course through the help of the local police as well who managed to stop the train on time. If they weren’t there at the moment, it would have been horrible for the poor pregnant horse. Shoutout to them for this amazing rescue as, as you will be able to see in the video below is was indeed difficult.
