When deputies in San Bernardino, California, received a call about a wayward pig, they had to come up with a clever plan to lure him back home. The enormous pig had escaped his pen and was wandering the streets when someone noticed him and called for help. The San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department wrote about the incident on Instagram, explaining what happened.
They wrote: “Well if this doesn’t go on the list of unusual calls… Highland Station received a call reference a pig “the size of a mini horse” ???????? running around the neighborhood. Deputy Ponce and Deputy Berg found him and due to previous calls, knew where he lived.” Once they found the giant pig, they tracked him down and brought him home. “They lured him back home with @Doritos one of our deputies had in her lunch bag ????.
They made a trail and he followed. “We were able to put him back in and secure the gate. It was fun!” said Deputy Ponce. Crime-fighting to safely securing a mini horse sized pig, we do it all ????♀️????♂️” Followers immediately commented on the photos the Department posted, and they all had one question: What flavor were the Doritos?!
Some people totally understood the pig’s motivations — one person even wrote, “Chances are pretty high that I’d follow someone home if they gave me Doritos.” Have you ever tried to do the same thing with your animal?
