It is a fact that almost everyone loves horses, so it shouldn’t come as a surprise discovering that they are one of the most featured animals in movies. Over the years we have seen a lot of horse movies, from family movies to watch on a Sunday Evening to Oscar-winning movies that have left the critics and the audience speechless.
We have to say that every horse movie is a good movie, for us equestrians, but I’m pretty sure that we all have made a list in our mind, with the horse movies that we consider to be the best. One of the most beautiful and touching movies in the history of horse movies is without a doubt War Horse.
This spectacular movie is directed by the well-known director Steven Spielberg and fairly enough has been nominated for 6 Oscars and 72 other nominations. It tells the incredible story of young Albert, who enlists to serve in the British Army during the First World War after he and his beloved horse Joey are forcefully parted from each other.
“Wherever you are, I will find you and I will bring you home.” – a line said by Albert dedicated to his horse Joey, demonstrated once again that the bond between a human and his horse is incomparable.
We have decided to show you one of the most emotional scenes in the movie, where Albert calls his life companion Joey. No matter how many times you watch this movie, people cry every time they watch this devastating scene. Please share this amazing movie part with your friends!
