Showjumping is one of the most-watched international equestrian sports and all horse lovers like to participate in showjumping events because they are really entertaining. In showjumping, the purpose is too clear a series of fences, named as a round, as fast as it is possible without hitting any of the fences over.
It’s often measured with penalty points being granted for every second the horse and rider are outside of the allowed time. An excellent showjumper should have a great powerful jump, be ready to turn fast as well as being capable to sprint between fences.
During these exhibitions, you may have noticed how fearless these riders are and how they accomplish to catch that steadiness to their horse. But, unfortunately, not all the riders are that professional and sometimes they don’t deserve to be part of showjumping.
For example, the rider in the video below it doesn’t look like he is doing his job right. The horse looks very skillful and was doing all he could to do his part of the deal, but that rider looks hopeless. It looks like he doesn’t acknowledge how wonderful his pony is because he succeeds to jump and hold the balance, although his back is being crushed by this irresponsible rider.
The horse was making efforts to do his part of the deal, but that rider looks desperate. That poor animal’s mouth and back have been destroyed as you can see from the video. It’s incredible that this rider even stays on! Watch the video below for more!
