Flamingos are generally non-migratory birds. However, due to changes in the climate and water levels in their breeding areas, flamingo colonies are not always permanent. The Flamingos in this video are a case of migration from West Africa to a lagoon that provides the Flamingos everything they could ask for, especially food.
When everything seems to be going perfectly well for Flamingos, a group of Wild horses is running towards them and Flamingos got scared; it means that they went to search for a quieter lagoon.
Fortunately Camargue, the place where these birds migrated has hundreds of lagoons, which makes it easier for them to find a proper place that fits their lifestyle. As for horses, all we have to say is that they looked majestic running all together toward Flamingos.
It all looks like a movie scene, but it is real indeed. Watching videos like this should help people raise awareness towards nature and understand the consequences of negative behavior and attitude on the environment. Help these animals who can’t do as much as you can to keep their natural habitats protected.
